Hi I am Julie aka Reptile Lady

 

 

 

 

 

 

 








Easy going, like to laugh and smile.
Honest and loyal to those who enter my world. Yet I am no fool and will dig deep if I have to. No one uses a kindness of my heart and abuses it, then gets away with it.

 

Can be a very deep thinker, I don't make rash decisions, I take time, but when my mind is made up I stick to it, and its then I know I have no regrets or tears to fall.

Take so much pleasure in writing, its been my release as for many years my words lay dormant, but mid summer 2007 they began to flow again. So here I am, expressing my thoughts, and making such wonderful friends

Life's experiences, and lessons learned prompts many of my poems and short stories. Many are deep and hold true meanings. Some a little lighter in heart.

Raised in East Africa, I shared a happy childhood, with my Parents and Brother. My mind is full of treasured
memories, of magnificent sights and scenes.
Coming back to the UK was a huge culture shock, and took me many years to settle into this Country.

I live with my lovely children, a house full of Reptiles, and my mad crazy Labradoodle.

I love Black and White Photography, and over the last few years have taken many pictures of my chosen subjects. Music plays a large part of my life, lyrics that speak,and paint my mind.. 

Without poetry of words, there would be no lyrics..

 

Passionate about Wildlife and cultures,Reptiles, my Local Environment, and the plight of Young People who I have worked with for the past 11 years.

Friends have been my rock through difficult and trying times.

Life throws many punches, but in turn, I have moved forward, leaving the past in the past.
Looking forward to today, tomorrow, as the ventures of life unfold.

    Hello Julie! I'm so sorry for being so out of touch! I moved to Toronto 4 days ago,..yes..finally! So things have been kind of ...busy around here. I haven't written a word of poetry in weeks. I'm hoping that would change soon.
