I am a retired teacher, having taught everything except the fourth grade. Also GED subjects to GI's in Europe, English to Puerto Ricans and German Nationals, a year at ASU, as well as juvenile deliquents in secure institutions etc. etc.
I call myself a tradionalist. I believe in form in the traditional sense, even if the form is free verse (which is not really free).
I have raised German Shepherds for many years and have a registered breeding kennel in Germany as well as in the US although I have not done any breeding for several years. My home is not a home without at least one in the house, along with six or seven cats. I live in the desert with chickens, a horse, thousands of birds, lizards and other wild creatures. Civilization is now encroaching and the coyotes and the cattle are disappearing. Sad thing.
I have been selected to be an AP aunt. To the very sweet and bright vernallealoo' Her poetry is unique and reflects a warm sweet person. I have been very pleased to be her online auntie.
